Creating custom dropdowns is usually a tedious process that requires a ton of extra setup time. Oftentimes lacking conveniences that native dropdowns have such as keyboard navigation. DropKick removes the tedium and lets you focus on making s@#t look good.
TagCanvas – jQuery Animated Tag Cloud
An HTML5 canvas-based plugin which replaces <a href="...">
links with a 3D rotating cloud of tags.
Tested in FireFox, Chrome, Opera, Safari. Also tested in IE8, where it obviously doesn’t work except in conjunction with ExplorerCanvas. Now works in the IE9 beta/release candidate without ExplorerCanvas.
Animated Scroll to Top
I’m writing a detail tutorial on how to create an animated scroll to top as seen on Web Designer Wall. It is very simple to do with jQuery (just a few lines of code). It checks if the scrollbar top position is greater than certain value, then fade in the scroll to top button. Upon the link is clicked, it scrolls the page to the top.

Picbox a lighweight Image viewer
Picbox is a lightweight (around 5KB) javascript image viewer based on the excellent Slimbox by Christophe Beyls, and available using either the Mootools or jQuery frameworks. It features automatic resizing and zooming of large images, allowing them to fit in the browser or be viewed at full size.
bMap – jQuery maps plugin
The bMap jQuery plugin allows you to quickly and easily add mapping to your website. It has been designed from the beginning to handle lots of markers, lots of layers, and custom marker icons.The plugin can manage a sidebar for you, one with a list of markers, one with a list of layers. The sidebars can be styled with CSS.The internal Google object is exposed, so you can continue to use all of the power of the Google Maps API. You can also access the internals of the bMap object.
